Mona Samar is an Employment Specialist with two decades of experience and is an active advocate of meaningful employment for every person desirous of employment. She is currently hired by the Eminata Group of Canada, a dynamic organization that specializes in providing market-driven education and training programs ranging from career diplomas and certifications to academic degrees. At any given time, she takes care of the career needs of over two hundred students including guiding them towards meaningful employment, resume and cover letter writing, job interview preparation and networking among other things.
She has over twenty years of career experience. She started her career with UNICEF two decades ago after completing her studies and moved on to a varied career path. Along the way, she gained invaluable insights into the career and job market that can only be gained with experience and time. Finally, she decided to share her repertoire of experience with the world through a career as an Employment Specialist. She has launched this blog in order to impart her knowledge to those who might find it useful as well as to gain more insights from fellow professionals in the field.
Mona completed the Career Development Practitioner Program at Simon Fraser University, British Columbia, Canada. She earned her Computer Information System Program from Chaffey College, Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA and California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, California, USA.
She holds a Masters Degree (MA, MPhil) in Sociology, Bachelors in Education (B.Ed.) and Psychology (BA).
