How would you like to save the planet and get paid at the same time? If you have a little bit of green inside you then you might want to go into a career where you are helping to save the world.
Most people try many things in life and it’s not until they have more experience that they know what they want to do as a profession. If you’re thinking about something different in the future then check out these jobs because there could be one in there for you.
1. Solar Panel Installer
You have probably seen these guys working on a roof as you’ve been driving by. When it’s hot outside it feels like the best job in the world. You can’t beat working as the sun shines down on you from above. More and more people are deciding to get solar panels nowadays compared to years ago when they were still really expensive. You won’t become rich fitting these unless you have your own company, but you never know what might happen in the future.
2. Green Home Designer

Turn on the television these days and all you’ll be able to see on some of the channels the home makeover shows. It just shows how popular it is becoming to hire an interior designer who knows what they are talking about. You could specialize in green homes and help people create a wonderful place to live that would help the environment at the same time. If you wanted to get started in this, you would need to go to college first and get a degree in interior design.
3. Electric Car Engineer
Every time you show up at the gas station, you notice the price has gone up. How much longer can this go on? It probably won’t go on forever because people will get fed up. They will take their money and buy an electric car because they are the future. Maybe it would be good to get in while there isn’t much competition and you could have an amazing career. You will need a degree for a good engineering job, but you’ll end up with lots of money.
4. A Green Products Salesperson
You either love salesmen or you hate them, but there is no denying that everything in the world needs to be sold. Think about all the new green products we’re going to have in the future. We might not have as much as we’d like if there are no salesmen to convince people to use them. New products will come out and you won’t even find out about them, but that could all change because by becoming a salesman, you can attempt to turn the world green.

If you love the outdoors, you probably dreamed of having a job like this when you were young. It could end up being a reality and you would get to spend all day walking around protecting the park and everything inside it. You would come face-to-face with wild animals all the time although you would need to learn how to handle yourself if you came up against something dangerous like a bear. The only downside is the need to relocate if you don’t stay near a national park.
6. Energy Auditor
You are probably already capable of this job because I’m guessing you always try and find ways to save money on your energy bills at home. This kind of job is more or less the exact same thing except you are trying to save huge companies’ money. This will still count as saving the environment because when anyone tries to reduce the amount of energy they use, it will mean less harmful gases getting pumped into the air.
